The staff was soooo friendly!!! So patient!! We had a large group of first timers and the staff were so understanding and walked us through every process! They gave recommendations to get through the course and took pictures of us and kept our personal properties safe! I’m really happy we selected this place for our first activity in Charleston. We celebrated my daughter’s 10th birthday on Sunday. We brought her two friends and our 8 and 5 year and we all had a blast. We felt safe too. The staff wore their masks the whole time and sanitized our helmets when we were done. We were able to have snacks on the picnic tables and keep six feet distance from everyone that wasn’t in our group. I highly recommend checking out Wild Blue Ropes!read more

Our six year old grandson wanted to give this ‘awesome’ place a try. What a great experience! The staff were great at explaining everything about the equipment and the course. At one point our grandson got scared and wanted to get down, but a wonderful staff member joined him on the course, walked him through the tough spot and took the time to demonstrate how safe he would be should he actually slip. After that, there was no stopping him! Can’t wait to go back!read more

We highly recommend Wild Blue Ropes as a safe and fun experience! My son attended the summer camp and had an absolute blast! More importantly, with the help of the patient instructor and owner, he gained a lot of confidence. All staff wore masks and social distancing was strongly encouraged and the space allows for it. We took our two sons, ages 8 and 6, to Wild Blue Ropes for the first time this month. We started them off on the "Explorer's Gateway" course, and quickly they wanted to "upgrade" to the "Challenge Course". They had so much fun! Even my little 6 year old gained the courage to try the high-level obstacles! They loved auto-belaying off the lower and upper ledges, and reported that their hardest obstacles ended up being their favorites! We enjoyed taking breaks, too, at the picnic tables in the shade - there's snacks and cold drinks (it was hot!) for purchase. The staff there could not have been more kind and encouraging. An absolute great outing for the family, 100% recommend.read more

Had the pleasure of carrying my grandkids to this Adventure Park. We were on a time schedule and had to leave after about 1 1/2 hours. Not enough time. The staff were extraordinary. If the rest of the country would give the service and time that these individuals gave to the kids and adults, it would be a better world to be in. Three of the kids were from Austin, TX and they had a ball. We will definitely stay 4 hours or longer when they return in July. Thank you Wild Blue Ropes Crew!

If you are thinking about going here, plan to stay for a long time. 2 hours is not quite enough for everything Wild Blue Ropes has to offer. The obstacles are fun and challenging on many different levels. Making your own course and finding activities suitable for you is a huge plus on this Rope course compared to many others. The children's track is a single loop as they are strapped in the whole time and not moving their safety clips but from the sounds of it they were having a lot of fun.
In regards to the staff, they were excellent. For first timers this type of activity can be daunting, but the instruction and calmness of the staff made it laid back. On one particular obstacle there were quite a few people not capable of completing it and the instructor from the ground without frustration or panic, walked many people through this leg and got them back to a platform safely.
Definitely going again soon.read more

My family of six (3 teen girls, 1 ten year old boy) spent 2 hours on the course last Saturday and it was a blast! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They teach you what you need to know then get out of your way. They pay attention but pretty much give you a run of the course, which was great for my pack. We noticed they have a ‘roller’ course that is safer for younger kids, but we were on the course where you had to move your harness clips around on the different obstacles.
There are different levels of difficulty and challenge and it was awesome to see my kids go from a little scared and intimidated to eventually fearless as they realized it was completely safe. The course looks small at first, but once you get on it you realize how much room there is to move around and challenge yourself. Neither my wife or I felt like we had to watch our kids like hawks and were able to enjoy the course ourselves and also spend time going around with them.

My 10 year old and I visited on a Friday afternoon in May. The staff was helpful and attentive , but didn't hover. This gave us time to explore all the obstacles and work through those we found more difficult without worrying that we were holding anyone else up. Excellent service from the minute we walked in the door until the time we left.
Being the first group of the day with 3 young kids who had never seen a rope course let alone been on one , the staff made them as comfortable as possible. From harnessing them up, explaining the mechanics and encouraging them through the course this made a world of difference in their experience.

We LOVE Wild Blue Ropes Course! Second time we have been on it. The first time was for a birthday party and this last time (Aug 2021) was just because. Despite it being 90°+, we enjoyed every minute of our 2hrs. There was an off and on breeze and some decent shade in parts of the course. They have a good variety of obstacles at varied levels. Funny thing: having to repel to get down was mentally the hardest thing for several in our group; myself included. Would recommend for any age group looking for an outdoor challenge.read more

Our experience at Wild Blue was fantastic. The staff were helpful and encouraging just when we needed it. My husband and I took our daughters (age 9 and 11) to the adventure park and we opted for the Challenge Course. The girls were just shy of being tall enough to clip in and out, but it was easy enough for my husband and I to each pair with one child and move about the course easily. Everyone enjoyed the day...we all tested our comfort skills, but left after 2 hours feeling accomplished! Highly recommend this experience!read more

Went to this spot in August and had a great time with family friends. It was my best friend's and goddaughter's 1st time going. I must say they loved their experience. It was scary for my goddaughter at first trying to get through some of them but with some amazing coaching she went through every obstacle. We never once felt like we were holding other people up. As we arrived on a Friday at 12:00 when most kids are in sachool (we were on Spring Break), they had the place to themselves and loved every moment. Fun and challenging! My wife and I went here with some friends and had a great time. The park looks small, but there are actually many different rope courses and although we took the whole 2 hours, we still did not get to every one. Courses ranged from easy enough to be appropriate for a child to extremely difficult. The equipment was all in good repair and we felt very safe. We visited on 7/11. My son (7, he’s the size of a 10yr old) did both easy course and challenge courses. He had an absolute blast on the courses. They staff was very nice, patient, and Greta at teaching/giving directions. The equipment was in great condition. This place hosted walk ins, groups who made appointments, and a summer camp. The space was large and accommodated all who were there. Anytime a visitor was stuck one of the staff would safely rush up to help. This place sold snacks and drinks. As first timers for a ropes course, my kids and I had a fabulous experience at Wild Blue Ropes. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and encouraging. We really enjoyed the course! Very challenging and fun. I would definitely do it again! 😁 Don't be scared to take the rope down. It'll definitely hold you, but it takes about 40 lbs to gently carry you to the ground.read more

Overall, the experience was great in a lot of ways for the kids. My kids absolutely loved the challenges and success of it. The entry level course was just right even for younger kids I would say down to about 6 years old and the advanced was challenging enough even for an experienced spelunker. It was definitely adult and child friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for you and your kids, parties, team-building, even exercise. It is definitely a fun place to make some memories with your little ones.
I honestly can't think of a better and easily accessed place that you can introduce your kids to a daunting challenge that is also fairly easy to conquer where they can Master their "unknown" Fear in a safe environment and have fun at the same time. They were almost in tears and needed encouragement for every step the first time around by the third 4th and fifth time I had to tell them to slow down! That's a win.read more

We tried out Wild Blue Ropes for the first time on Saturday by holding our son’s birthday party there. Hugh was most helpful throughout the process. From setting up the booking, answering questions, and then at the party itself with the setup, coordinating the pizza delivery and breakdown. Great outdoor activity for all ages! Tween/teen greatly enjoyed the challenge course. Staff and owner were wonderful with children and very friendly. Perfect snacks available for a very reasonable price (refreshing frozen treats great on a warm day). I was very impressed with the safety of the harness- locks very securely to the ropes with a special device.read more

I highly recommend this place for team building and group activities. I took 12 high school students and they loved the challenge and experience. On the course I saw the students support each other and encourage each other in new ways. It brought our group closer together. The students were free to roam the course from easy to hard based on the challenge the experience they wanted. The staff was phenomenal. We have 3 WBR workers assisting us and they went through all the safety information and made sure the students stayed safe the entire time. The locking mechanism for the ropes was fabulous and a comfort to me, who stayed down on the ground. I appreciate the staff as they gave one on one attention to students struggling to accomplish a course. The staff was patient and respectful the entire time. The next time I am in Charleston I will definitely go back.read more

This place was great. Easy parking. Great staff that accommodates your needs. We had a group of 7 with adults and kids. Everyone enjoyed their adventure. The explorer (kids easier level) is good for kids and adults. It does not last 1 hour. It is very short course.
The more advanced level was fun and it also was labeled with complexity levels. We had lot of fun, even it was very hot day.read more

We were there for a birthday party and had a great time. The course was challenging for the young kids, but once they got over their initial fear they all went through it multiple times. We were visiting a friend in South Carolina (Here from California) and wanted to take the kids to do something for the afternoon. We booked a 2 hour appointment at noon. We ran into some issues and hold ups so we called to see about pushing our time back…So kind about it! Sure, no problem. We can do that. Pfew!
When we get there the staff were incredibly friendly and quickly & efficiently had us helmets, gloves and suited up in all of our gear!
After a great tutorial we were free to test our boundaries at our own pace. It was helpful that we had so many choices all in the same area at different levels of difficulty.
In all honesty, I fell…twice of the expert leap pad bridge 🤪 but the girls helped guide me back onto my feet from (safely) swinging in midair!
When my little dude was ready to repel, Mo geared up and went through the steps with him and he had no problem scooting right off the edge (he is 10).
We had an absolute blast!

My son (5) and I really enjoyed this ropes course. We did the junior course 2x and then upgraded to the bigger course. Staff were all friendly and very accommodating. The upper level courses would be great for ambitious kiddos all the way up to teenagers. There's also a killer spot for BBQ right across the street.read more

It’s definitely a “for all ages” activity. My family and I had a great time. I booked online and arrived a little before booked time as suggested for briefing etc. The kiddos were excited and had lots of fun. I can’t recommend Wild Blue Ropes enough! I don’t know how we didn’t know of this place sooner, but we surely will be back. My husband and teenagers got on the course right away while I took a good ten minutes of internal struggle to even attempt it 😅. The staff is incredible—supportive, accommodating, and patient. The website has all of the information you need before visiting, and the location is so close to amazing restaurants and the beach. A must visit!read more

I was in Wild Dunes on Isle of Palm for a hot, hot week without a rental car. We took a few cabs into Charleston for a carriage ride and other things but after days in the pool and ocean my son asked for something else to do and we found this Wild Blue Ropes Adventure Park on Mommypoppins. It was fantastic. The safety system is top notch. The multi-level, multisegmental layout was was easy to navigate and we started on the easy course and advanced to the intermediate course and even tried a few of the advanced obstacles. I’ve been on many courses like this and, frequently, l the entrance and the exit are the same place (boring!) or there is a single path from start to finish ending at a ladder or, if you’re lucky, a zip line. But this course has multiple exit points from multiple levels using an auto-belay which was a great way to go to ground and start over frequently. It was hot and we only stayed on the course for 90 minutes but we had a ball.read more
